It’s been crafted to celebrate the original rye recipes enjoyed by settlers and miners of Tin Cup, Colorado, with a taste that matches the bold spice and spirit of the Old West.
Set on the western side of the Colorado Rockies, Tincup, CO was named after the old tin cups from which miners would drink after a hard days work. The first settlers of Tincup would gather at local watering holes to drink and share stories. They would drink Rye whiskey, the dominant style enjoyed by frontiersmen at the time.
TINCUP Rye is a bold and smooth rye whiskey, made of 95% Mid-Western Rye & 5% Barley. It is distilled and aged for three years in Indiana, and cut to proof with Rocky Mountain water. TINCUP Rye is 90 proof.
